MMY not only provides economical and timely structural systems for offices, we also tailor our designs to fit specific space requirements such as long span, exposed and custom structures.
Familiar with the special requirements of hospitality facilities, MMY continues to provide experience and knowledge of the industry with engineering services for new hotels, restaurants and convention centers as well as renovations of existing facilities.
From the design of new buildings to restoration of older city and state owned structures, MMY has done award winning work on public facilities such as military installations, municipal buildings, government offices, libraries and maintenance/storage structures.
Whether a building is on the National Register of Historic Places or locally designated as historically significant, MMY has developed an expertise in the archaic framing systems and materials that are common to many older structures, and a familiarity with the Secretary of the Interior’s Standard for the Treatment of Historic Properties.
Facilities to enhance health and well-being, covering services in areas of medicine, dentistry and senior care. Designs range from local clinics to “state-of-the-art” facilities.
Educational facilities require a high level of collaboration with all the stakeholders in the project. MMY has been involved in many educational projects over the years, from small remodels and additions to support for mechanical upgrades and new construction of entire facilities. You could say we’ve found these projects educational, too.
MMY has the experience to rapidly and economically incorporate the structural interfaces required for heavy industries, custom equipment, material handling, storage, specialty mechanical and electrical systems.
Places of worship, congregation and community activities; these projects include small, peaceful spaces for solitary reflection, gathering areas for larger groups, and associated facilities for education and recreation.
Park + Rec
In Minnesota we love our parks. From individual buildings to multi-structure park complexes, MMY works with architects on designs that emphasize a sense of community while facilitating access to the great outdoors.
